Hello everyone!

Today in this article, I will explain what a Trash The Dress underwater is, and how to prepare your session!

What is a Trash The Dress?

It is a photo session, which takes place after the wedding, during which the concept is to “destroy” the bride’s dress! There are many ways to do this, but destroying it in water is the most common way. It can therefore be photos taken out of the water, with the couple partially immersed, or completely in the water: i. e. underwater!

How long after the wedding should I do Trash The Dress?

There are no rules! It is you and only you who decide when you want to take pictures. Whether it’s a month after the wedding, or a year after, you’re the bosses!

How long does a Trash The Dress session last?

It takes a total of an hour and a half. As with any water photo shoot, we take the time to get to know each other, change and get into the water quietly!

And the groom, how should he dress?

Just like the lady, he can dress in his wedding outfit. Whether it’s a suit, a chino, a shirt, straps or a bow tie, it’ll be great! The goal is to take pictures that look like you!

Is it hard to swim with your clothes on?

For the groom,it won’t be complicated. It’s the dress that can complicate things! Fortunately, it’s not a question of swimming in a sporting way, but an artistic one! You don’t have to be a professional swimmer to do this, you just have to be comfortable in the water.

Which is better, the lagoon or in the pool?

It’s according to your wishes! The renderings are different. In the lagoon, we see the whole environment around us; corals, sometimes fish! In the pool, it’s easier to swim because the water doesn’t sting the eyes. The main thing is that it looks like you!

How to make a reservation?

just send me a message via the contact form, and explain your project to me. Leave your phone number so I can call you.

I’ll see you in Reunion Island very soon!
